1. Agreement to Terms
Welcome to Lingua Mosaic. These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Lingua Mosaic website, mobile applications, content, and services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Lingua Mosaic ("we," "us," or "our").
By creating an account, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to create an account (or the equivalent minimum age in your country).
If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian who agrees to these Terms on your behalf.
By using the Services, you represent that you meet these requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and current.
3. Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
You must register an account to access most features. You agree to:

4. Subscriptions, Payments, and Refunds
4.1 Free and Paid Plans
Lingua Mosaic offers both free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans unlock premium features such as advanced lessons, offline access, certifications, and ad-free learning.
4.2 Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly, annually, or as selected).
Prices are displayed in your local currency where possible and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
Payment is processed through third-party payment providers. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your chosen payment method.
4.3 Automatic Renewal
Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless cancelled at least 24 hours before renewal. You can cancel anytime through your account settings or app store.
4.4 Refunds
Refunds are generally not provided for partial subscription periods, unused time, or already-delivered content, except where required by law.
Purchases made through app stores (Apple App Store, Google Play) are subject to the refund policies of those platforms.

4.5 Price Changes
We may change subscription fees with reasonable advance notice. Continued use after the change takes effect constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
5. License to Use the Services
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Services for personal, non-commercial educational purposes.
You may not:
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services or content.
Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code.
Use the Services to build a competing product or service.
Scrape, mine, or harvest data through automated means.
Resell or sublicense access to the Services.
6. Intellectual Property
6.1 Our Content
All content provided through Lingua Mosaic — including lessons, exercises, audio recordings, illustrations, text, software, logos, trademarks, and the "Lingua Mosaic" name — is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
6.2 User-Generated Content
If you submit content (comments, forum posts, recordings, translations, feedback) to the Services, you:
Retain ownership of your content.
Grant us a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive, sublicensable license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display that content for the purpose of operating and improving the Services.
Represent that you have all necessary rights to grant this license and that your content does not infringe any third party's rights.
We may remove user content at our discretion if it violates these Terms or applicable laws.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree NOT to:
Use the Services for any unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent purpose.
Harass, abuse, threaten, or impersonate any person.
Post or share content that is obscene, defamatory, hateful, discriminatory, or inappropriate for an educational platform.
Upload malware, viruses, or any harmful code.

Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Services.
Use bots, scripts, or automated tools to interact with the Services without permission.
Share, sell, or transfer your account to another person.
Violations may result in suspension, termination, and/or legal action.
8. Community Features
Lingua Mosaic may include forums, chat features, leaderboards, or partner-matching for language practice. You are solely responsible for your interactions with other users. We do not screen users in advance and are not responsible for the conduct of any user. Exercise caution when sharing personal information with others on the platform.
9. Third-Party Services
The Services may integrate with or link to third-party tools (e.g., social logins, payment processors, translation APIs). We are not responsible for the availability, content, or practices of those third parties. Your use of them is governed by their own terms and policies.
10. Disclaimers
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, OR ACCURACY OF CONTENT.
We do not guarantee:
That you will achieve specific learning outcomes or language proficiency.
That the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
That content (translations, grammar explanations, cultural notes) is free from errors.
Lingua Mosaic is an educational tool and is not a substitute for professional certification, instruction, or assessment unless explicitly stated.
11. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LINGUA MOSAIC AND ITS AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
Our total liability for any claim arising from these Terms or the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or USD 100, whichever is greater.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain liability limitations; those exclusions may not apply to you.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Lingua Mosaic and its affiliates from any claims, damages, liabilities, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.
13. Modifications to the Services
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Services at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification or discontinuation.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms periodically. If changes are material, we will notify you via email or a notice within the Services at least 30 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
